This has been cooking in certain underground dungeons over the past 10 years or so and is now the normative ideology among the activist-academic-media Muslim class.
They are mostly college-educated bougie American Muslims who went into academia or journalism. Their age group tends to be 25–35. They tend to be from prominent “”Islamist”” backgrounds. And they’ve taken the progressive language and worldview of the American left as their own.
They see progressivism as the next wave and want to ride it, but really, it has done a suplex and is now riding them like donkeys. Islam has become a skin to wear for them, mutilating the religion to take concepts of justice and equality and make it fit the prog worldview.
We all know who fits into this category. We see them agitating against core Islamic values for the sake of “anti structural” xyz, “queerness”, bla bla. They promote “Gay Muslim romcoms” in Ramadan, and “trans conversions” among young people. The vipers are in the nest.
The failure of the older, more orthodox Islamist groups in the Arab Spring (see 2013–2016, from the Rabaa-Ghouta twin massacres to the fall of Aleppo), led to their rent-seeking failson children to pursue a new ideology: Ikhwan-Prog fusionism.
Let us call these people Fusionists for brevity. The young Fusionist activist has become another wing of American empire, propogating values formed in America’s cultural regime factory (the academia-media-NGO nexus) to spread worldwide under guise of anti-imperialism.
Remember this: anti-imperialism nonsense is America’s most successful imperial ideology to DATE. It has spread like wildfire worldwide, buoyed by the internet and social media.
We are living in a historic moment of geopolitical power transition as American power declines worldwide; but if one reads history, one will know that while political power recedes, cultural power surges forward.
We are witnessing American cultural power grow stronger than ever before, and the Fusionists, these millennials who use Arabic terms for Kufri beliefs akin to a trojan horse, who agitate against America all day, are another weapon of American empire.
Beware the vipers among you; they come promising revolution, democracy, and queer Islamic liberation theology.
Hamza Yusuf tried to signal this but he always got mobbed by the vipers. That’s why he gets cancelled, not because he’s soft on the UAE or whatever BS excuses these people have (fun fact: both of these groups love homo-liberalism).
Ofc none of this would actually matter if it weren’t for the fact that the Americans are in a position of power compared to the rest of the Muslim world, and instead of using that to send good knowledge and vibes, they participate in American empire’s propogation of “queerness”.
American Muslims are facing a succession crisis, where the boomer uncle engineer archetype who ran Muslim institutions has largely failed in raising his children who take their worldview from their college campus and first year classes on critical race theory and gender studies.
And thus is the result, not just in how they air their dirty laundry every other week for social media to debate, but also through the mediocre midwits given positions of extreme power and information arbitrage vs the rest of the world simply by being American.
Their beliefs are not restricted to LA or DC but now extend to Cairo and Istanbul, where their lil groupies participate in smuggling in prog-left language under the guise of organising for democracy and freedom in MENA.
One of the most egregious examples of this Fusionist ideology is the development of AJ+, the Qatari-owned AJ wing HQed in California and run by a cabal of proggish Arab-American millennials. Really scummy network:

Western Muslim communities have for the most part taken their political views and cultural influences based on the Middle Eastern divides between states like the UAE, Saudi, Turkey, and Qatar; none of them are to be trusted, unfortunately.
The UAE actively tries to assault Muslim institutions across the western hemisphere through the counter-terrorism racket, and Qatar is now busy funding the proliferation of LGBT propaganda through its Fusionist-run AJ+ wing.
For all the talk of resisting “euro-American nation-statism” bla bla, none of these people actually resist anything. They just talk and spread
propaganda. The only option for Muslim diaspora here is total withdrawal away from and then to move above Middle Eastern politicking.
Ofc, this requires a level of competence and organisational discipline that is pretty much beyond 99% of muzzis and their harebrained schemes and understanding of organisation, which is why it’ll take a handful of heavy lifters to lead the charge in this.
We are talking about: 1. Communal cultural sovereignty through Renaissance by hybridising with western culture 2. Organic cashflows to cut off reliance on Middle Eastern money 3. Homegrown businesses + funded institutions to fund all the above
Again, most muzzis are too retarded to undertake something like this. The boomers had the work ethic but not the vision; their children largely have neither ethics of any kind nor vision. Half of them are essentially trust fund babies who just get drunk and high regularly.
Whoever becomes the Great Founder figure of western Islam will need powerful work ethic, a vision, and the self constitution to resist assimilation of oneself and instead pursue the assimilation of others through a powerful new synthetic culture.
